Caving trip July 2009

25 July 2009, I drove to Perak with my friends (Chew Theng, Peek Eek and Ming Teng). Why? Oh, I went there to collect the samples for my research. It was a great trip though it was quite tiring as quite a lot of work needed to be done before and after the trip =P

It was so great that Malaysian Karst Society assisted us a lot... Thank you very much to Mr Philip, his family and friends, taking care of us for three days. wow... I found that it was so such new experience staying in sowhere that of natural and open to the surroundings (ops...i could not express the excitement with words la... )

Initially, I planned to collect my samples from Gua Anak Tempurung. Unfortunately, it rained since that early in the morning, thus we could not enter the cave as it was flooded. After discussed with Mr Philip, we had decided to go to Kandu Cave to collect my samples... hooray... at least I could get something back for my research as Gua Anak Tempurung was not an ideal place for my research... hehehe... Caving was fun and adventurous, although I got scratches on my hands and legs afterthat... I did enjoy the trip eh...

Before we went back to KL, we went to all the temple caves along the way to KL... hehe..tiring but fun indeed... hehe....

Looking forward for next trip... Peek Eek, should be the time when you want to collect your samples la...hehehe, touchwood that I believe that I have enough samples for my research already...muahaha ^^
